This design project began with us being tasked to create a floor plan for the new Learning Skills and Development building. However, after user research and interviews we found that the problem was not the floor plan but instead the booking process. This allowed us to pivot our energy into creating a new booking process for appointments and workshops. With various interviews with different user groups under our belt, we felt ready to start creating some design solutions. What we ultimately settled on was a rough design for a tablet that walked you through the process in a more linear direction with fewer roadblocks.
