I am a User Experience (UX) Designer and UX graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University. I have experience working with clients both directly and through my time as a former UX Design Intern with the Government of Ontario.

Commercial Fish Reporting Software

While working for the Ontario Government I conducted user interviews to create clickable prototype screens. I then held critique sessions and usability tests to create multiple iterations to influence the future of the project after my departure.
Chefs Nest - Rent. Book. Eat
A group project in which my team and I worked through the entire design process to create an app for landowners to post their places for restaurants to rent and show off their food to a new audience and setting.

Social Media LoFi Wireframes
A self-directed project where I took popular social media platforms such as Instagram or YouTube and rebuilt their layouts to follow a simple low-fidelity design. I took the most important pieces of each famous design and broke them down into their most simple parts to learn how they flow.

Throughout my 16-month placement as a UX Designer co-op, I built, tested, and revised prototypes with stakeholders. These designs helped shape the future direction of the Commercial Fishing Modernisation project.
Conducting Interviews
As a first-year student, I took the initiative to lead group interviews to gather information for our tablet signup project. Since then I have continued to build this skill and lead whenever possible.
Information Analysis
Although conducting interviews is important, being able to analyse that information is just as crucial. Analysing information by grouping topics, creating tables and charts, or breaking down metrics are all skilIs take pride in.
As a User Experience Designer, I strive to create the best possible experience for the user.
By focusing on user-centred design and listening to the user directly, every problem has a solution.
